George McIntire

I'm a data science and AI/ML consultant with 8+ years of experience building production-grade systems across a range of industries. I hold a Master's degree from UC Berkeley and work with clients through Toptal and my own firm, GSM AI. My work spans NLP and large language model applications, audio and music machine learning, IoT time-series anomaly detection, and real estate analytics. I've built end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion through model deployment — including CNN autoencoders for structural health monitoring, metric learning systems for music similarity search, and automated valuation models for property pricing. On the infrastructure side, I'm fluent in the AWS ecosystem (SageMaker, Lambda, ECR, S3, RDS) and work across PyTorch, TensorFlow, FastAPI, and vector databases. I'm comfortable at every layer of the stack, from exploratory analysis to scalable cloud deployment.
